How to Re-brand Your Company Content in One Day

Marketing Managers: You've only got one day to capture every asset for a full organisation rebrand, otherwise your colleagues will revolt. You think - how is it possible to film EIGHT interviews, relevant candid b-roll & photography, and update team headshots, in only eight hours? What do you do?
That’s precisely the problem TVT Marketing Communications Manager Alex Williams came to us to help solve. TVT has been specialising in a white-glove approach to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions for over 25 years. The B2B IT industry is extremely relationship driven, so Alex knew they had to continue to put their best foot forward with this brand evolution. The media output needed to feel premium, slick, yet relaxed.
Our solution: build three sets, with two running concurrently; and shuttle colleagues between each with minute precision. We divided into two teams: Team One on a-roll, & Team Two on b-roll + photography; with Alex as 2nd assistant director to ensure everyone was in the right place at the right time.
The A-Roll team conducted interviews in pairs; on a static set complete with brand-colour mustard backdrop, studio lighting, & two camera angles. Interviewing in pairs really helped those less confident in front of the camera, which aided the ‘relaxed’ briefing point. The studio environment (taking over the TVT boardroom) guaranteed consistency of quality across the assets.
The B-Roll team divided their time between two tasks: the first was large group, multiple small group, and solo working candid b-roll scenarios. First on gimbal & in slow mo video; with candid photography shooting straight after. Any colleague not being interviewed was placed into a b-roll scenario to ensure everyone had adequate screen time. Once wrapped, the crew built a second studio set for posed headshots, with white backdrop & studio lighting. The cycle repeated with solo & a smattering of posed group photography.
After three weeks in post-production, the result was a media campaign of: a 3min hero film, 6 landscape short videos, 6 vertical short videos, 30 candid ‘brand story’ photographs, & 10 posed headshot photographs. More than enough to fill out the new website homepage, landing pages, and social media feeds for two months.
